What Animal Communication actually is
It's telepathy, and it's a skill you're already carrying. Images, feelings, inner words, sudden knowing: four ways it arrives, and every one of them is trainable.
My approach
I ground myself first. Then I connect through the heart space, and I tell you what comes. Exactly as it arrives, including the parts that surprise me.

Human Elephant Conflict Sri Lanka
About the Human-Elephant ConflictI lived on the island of Sri Lanka for four years and worked with an initiative on the country's hardest animal question. One afternoon I stood in flip-flops, surrounded by men holding bullhooks, while the biggest elephant I'd ever seen lifted his injured leg towards me. His name was Raja. He gave us his word, and he kept it.

Where this all started

My name is Dunja Will, and I have been talking to animals for as long as I can remember.I speak German, Arabic and English. But the conversations that changed my life were never in any of them.My earliest memories of this are with the pitbulls my father used to breed. I was small, they were enormous, and I understood them long before I had words for how. Then I saw horses for the first time, and something in me recognised something in them. That recognition has never gone away. What interspecies communication actually isEvery species already communicates, through sight, sound, scent, touch. What I do runs underneath all of that. It arrives as images, as feelings, as inner words, as a sudden knowing that lands complete and whole. It is nonverbal, intuitive, telepathic. And it is a channel every one of us is born with.HorsesThe horses in Europe taught me the language. The domesticated and wild horses in Australia taught me how far it reaches. I sat with things owners had never noticed and things veterinarians had no treatment for, and I watched horses come back to themselves. Then the horses told me something I wasn't expecting: they wanted to work on us. Not as patients, as healers. Riders, caretakers, visitors: the horses had been holding space for all of them the whole time. That is when I started teaching. Workshops, retreats, online classes, for anyone ready to wake this up in themselves. My role became clear to me around then: I'm a diplomat between two species.ElephantsI didn't go to Sri Lanka for the beaches. I went because the elephants called me, and the call was too loud to ignore.I met them in the wild and in captivity. In our conversations they showed me health issues nobody had found, foods they needed, medical approaches that worked, and traumas they were still carrying. And like the horses, they offered to heal us in return. I watched that change how some of the mahouts saw the animals in their care. Permanently.Their story continues on the elephant page.
Human Elephant Conflict in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka was home for four years. It is also where the hardest animal question in the country plays out every single week.As people move further into land the elephants have used for thousands of years, both sides lose. Habitats break apart. Families on both sides lose members. Conservation work has been going on for decades and the deaths continue, which tells us something is missing from how we're approaching it.Here is what I've seen up close: both species are carrying trauma, and that trauma is changing how both of them behave. An elephant who turns aggressive is usually an elephant who has lost his family, his home, or the elders who taught him how to be an elephant. That is grief with nowhere to go.Why I wentI have been hearing animals since I was a child. Through my work with horses, and through founding Animal Assisted Intuitive Transformation (AAIT), I already knew what soul-to-soul communication could do.The elephants of Sri Lanka reached me anyway, and it was unlike anything before it. Grief, old wisdom, and a very clear request to be understood. I got on a plane.Together with my colleague Saha, I've sat with captive elephants and held space for what they carry, the traumas, the memories they've kept, the sorrow they live with quietly. What comes through in those conversations is emotion, intelligence and personality as distinct as any human's.RajaOne afternoon I stood in flip-flops, surrounded by men holding bullhooks, while the biggest elephant I had ever seen lifted his injured leg towards me.There wasn't a single ounce of fear in me. It felt like running into an old soulmate. He gave us his word that he would stay calm, and he kept it, and they let the chains go. A few days later he turned around and supported me through a healing session. That's when I knew this bond was for life. What I think has to changeWe have been building solutions out of human convenience and human intellect alone. Fences, funding, technology. All of it useful, none of it enough. The elephants belong in the conversation about their own future. Ask them what they need and they will tell you. I have watched it happen, and I have watched mahouts change their behaviour because of what they heard. That's the work. Fewer assumptions, more listening.
How a Session works

We meet on Zoom for 60 minutes. This is the standard length of a session. I also offer Extra long 90 minute Deep Dive sessions, which is the way to go if you want to have a chat with more than 1 animal per session. Before we start, I send you a few preparation questions. They sound simple, but they do real work. By the time we sit down, you know what your heart is actually asking, and we don't spend the first ten minutes finding it.We build the session around up to three questions you choose. In my experience, they usually sit somewhere in here:• a change in behaviour: anxiety, aggression, or pulling away
• something physical: discomfort, pain, a shift in their energy
• an emotional need they haven't been able to get across
• the reason behind a health or behaviour mystery nobody has solved
• a message of love, gratitude, or reassurance
• what they came into your life to teach you
• peace after a lossThen I open the channel, and I tell you what comes. Exactly as it arrives, in their words, including the parts that surprise me.Your three questions are the start, not the end. Once the space is held, more always comes through than we planned for. Most people tell me the real shift happened in the days and weeks that followed. 🤍
